It wasn’t so long ago that I didn’t trust myself.
I second-guessed everything — my instincts, my choices, even my worth. But it took a life-changing event to finally listen to the quiet voice within: motherhood.
After returning to work from my second maternity leave, I hit a wall. I burnt out — hard. I was forced to turn inward. Kundalini yoga, mantra chanting, journaling — these weren’t just practices anymore, they were lifelines. They helped me remember who I really was.
House of Somatics was born out of that moment of clarity. A desire for freedom, a deep need to create, and a calling to help others wake up — to your body, your truth, and your power.
But let’s rewind a little.
I spent my childhood creating dance choreographies to Whitney Houston and playing endless hours of tennis
Since I can remember, movement has been my joy. My dad would drive me across Italy for tournaments. But at 16, a coach told me to “lose a couple of kilos” to be quicker on the court — and just like that, my body became something to control, not celebrate.
In my twenties, I was stuck in a cycle of calorie counting and punishing workouts. Then a friend dragged me to a Bikram yoga class in Brussels. I went reluctantly. But after a few sessions, something shifted. I wasn’t just burning calories — I was feeling stronger. More connected. Yoga crept into my life and made a home there.

New city, new job, same passion.Yoga became my obsession
I moved to London and the yoga studio became my second home. But something still felt… incomplete. I knew there was more beyond the poses. I just didn’t know how to access it — until my daughter arrived.
After a long labour, I held this perfect baby in my arms… and was overwhelmed by fear, perfectionism, and the weight of getting it all right. Postnatal depression crept in quietly. I was angry, exhausted, and disconnected.
Meditation saved me. I began to surface. Slowly, breath by breath, I found the courage to admit I needed help.
That was the real beginning.
My toolbox grew. Somatic coaching. Cacao ceremonies. Sound. Stillness. Peace. Joy. Connection.
Everything I teach, everything I offer — I live it first.
When we reconnect with our physical bodies, we reconnect with our inner wisdom — the place where all the answers live.
